Corieltauvi silver unit, this iron age tribe covered the area known to us as the midlands, Leicestershire, Derby, Nottingham and Lincolnshire. The obverse shows a very detailed stylized boar with rosette above and ring and pellet below. Reverse is the familiar stylized horse to the left, again well detailed the horse head is a little weak. A nicely toned coin with a striking obverse boar.....
